To Avoid Lagos Traffic, SEE What Mercy Johnson Did With Daughter | PHOTOS

The much loved Nollywood actress and her daughter, Purity avoided the incessant traffic gridlock on Lagos roads, especially the Ikeja axis, on Monday, by taking a ride on one of the fully air-conditioned trains commissioned by the Goodluck Jonathan’s administration.
Mercy Johnson took to her instagram to explain why she decided to take the train to Ikeja instead of going through traffic in Lagos. She posted a picture of herself and daughter on her instagram page with the caption ‘Traffic emergency last night.. Ran with my heels off, Purity & I caught the train to Ikeja. No dulling’
She also posted a video of them on the train with the caption ‘Purity and I braved a train ride to Ikeja… Not Everytime Endure Lagos Traffic for 5 Hours, Sometimes….take the tube!’
See the photos below:

Is the actress indirectly crediting the Goodluck Jonathan administration or it was a coincidence?
Recall that the actress and mother of two was spotted with her second baby at Heathrow International Airport on February 26. Just recently, it was reported that the actress is wanted by the Nigerian police over a N2 million unfinished movie debt.

Prof. Osinbajo says man in the pic isn't his father or blood relative

APC VP candidate, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo took to twitter to correct the assertion that the old man in the pic making the rounds is related to him. The resemblance got people talking. See previous story here

Oh my! See what FFK wrote about Bola Tinubu & Lai Mohammed

It is not Femi Fani-Kayode but rather Lai Mohammed who is suffering from loose bowel movements and who defecates every other minute to the point that he often has to wear pampers when he goes on long journeys.
So, if anybody wants to talk about ill health. They should talk about themselves and not about me. I repeat my name is Femi Fani-Kayode, and nobody can kill me before my time. Nobody can cut me short.
I harbor no fear of violence but I do not take threats lightly. Neither do I fear for my life. Because I have never shed innocent blood and because I do not believe in violence or worship the devil, the Angel of the Lord will strike dead any person or any group of persons that seek to take my life or the life of any of my loved ones.
This I decree in the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ, the God whose I am and the God whom I serve”-Chief Femi Fani-Kayode

Photos: Meet the woman who got a facelift at 80 years old

Elizabeth before and after the surgery...
‘I never thought of myself as particularly attractive, so it wasn’t about trying to recapture the beauty I once had and then lost. I’ve just always tried to make the best of myself because I think the image you present to the world is important - people judge you by it." she says.
Usually doctors advice people over 65 years to reconsider having plastic surgery but according to recent survey, more older women are going under the knife these days: more than 60% of surgeons reported a marked increase in over-65s seeking an image overhaul.

Elizabeth pictured here after the procedure which involved a facelift, dermabrasion and fat injections into her cheeks to plump them up

Photo: So, is he Prof. Osinbajo's father or brother?

So, recently APC VP candidate Prof Osinbajo took the media back to his childhood village and home in Ogun state where the photo above was captured by an APC cameraman. The man in the photo was initially said to be Osinbajo's father (see the resemblance) but APC says that is his brother not father.

So here's why this photo is controversial. Them PDP people are trying to use the pic to their benefit. They are saying whether brother or father, why is he living in such a condition? Below is what they posted on a Pro-Jonathan Facebook page, Hope for Nigeria;

"What is the difference between someone's father and his brother, that Yemi Osibanjo will neglect them, even when he has been blessed by God as a Pastor, senior partner at SimmonsCooper Partners, a Professor, 8 years as Tinubu's Attorney General, director in Bola Tinubu's Alpha Beta Limited. How can you manage a country, when you can't take care of your relatives?"
Some folks are saying the guy is not even related to Osinbajo. That it's just a propaganda pic...lol

2015 Forbes Billionaires List Out - 5 Nigerians Make The Cut

The 2015 Forbes list of billionaires is now out. Five Nigerian made the cut - Aliko Dangote, Mike Adenuga, Folorunsho Alakija, Femi Otedola and Abdulsamad Rabiu. Orji Uzor Kalu and Tony Elumelu who made the list last year were dropped off the list this year.

Bill Gates is still the richest man in the world. Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg is now the 16th richest man in the world. The youngest billionaire in the world is 24 year old Evan Spiegel, the co-founder of photo- messaging app, Snapchat. Aliko Dangote is the year's biggest loser, hi fortune dropped to $14.7 billion from $25 billion last year. Read the rest after the cut..

From Forbes

For our 29th annual guide to the globe’s richest, we found a record 1,826 billionaires with an aggregate net worth of $7.05 trillion, up from $6.4 trillion a year ago. The total includes 290 newcomers, 71 of whom hail from China. Youth are on the rise: A record 46 among the ranks are under age 40. One earthward note: The average net worth of list members came in at $3.86 billion, down $60 million from 2014.

Bill Gates is once again the richest person on the planet, a title he’s held for 16 of the past 21 years. His fortune grew $3.2 billion since last year to $79.2 billion, despite a gift of $1.5 billion in Microsoft MSFT -0.47% shares to The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in November 2014. Carlos Slim Helu of Mexico comes in again at No. 2 while revered American investor Warren Buffett took back the No. 3 spot from Spain’s Amancio Ortega (now No. 4); not even the largest IPO in history was enough to beat the Oracle of Omaha this year. Buffett was the list’s biggest gainer, up $14.5 billion to $72.7 billion, thanks to Berkshire Hathaway’s rising share price.  Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg moves up 5 spots to number 16, his first time ranked among the world’s 20 richest. Ma and three other Chinese are among the the biggest gainers and appear among the 50 richest on the list.

Zuckerberg is also the leader in a youth revolution that has minted 46 billionaires under the age of 40. The youngest billionaire on the planet is Evan Spiegel, 24, co-founder of photo- messaging app Snapchat. California, driven by Silicon Valley tech companies, has spawned 23 new billionaires, including cofounders of car-hailing service Uber cofounders Travis Kalanick and Garrett Camp, and their first employee Ryan Graves. Elizabeth Holmes, who runs blood-testing firm Theranos, debuts on the global list as the youngest self-made woman at age 31. The state now has 131 individuals with 10-figure net worths, more than any other country besides China and the U.S.

The year’s biggest loser in dollar terms is Aliko Dangote of Nigeria, whose fortune dropped to $14.7 billion from $25 billion last year, propelled downward by a weaker Nigerian currency and shrinking demand for cement, his largest asset. He still retains the title of Africa’s richest man. The country that was lost the most ground by far was Russia, which now has 88 billionaires down from 111, less than not just the U.S. and China but now also Germany and India.

One hundred thirty-eight people from the 2014 list dropped out of the ranks altogether including fashion designer Michael Kors, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, Zulily’s Mark Vadon and many Russians. Guatemala has a billionaire for the first time, and Iceland returns to the ranks after a five-year absence, the result of a comeback by Thor Bjorgolfsson, who’s now the only billionaire in Iceland’s history.
There’s no doubt that entrepreneurship is thriving globally. Fully 1,191 members of the list are self-made billionaires, while just 230 inherited their wealth. Another 405 inherited at least a portion but are still working to increase their fortunes.

16-Year-Old Boy Robbed, defiled 52-Year-Old Woman, Says Her Body Turned Him On

A first look at the 16-year-old suspect, Abdulateef (surname withheld) would give the impression of a young innocent boy who would not hurt a fly. But contrary to that assumption, he did worse. Nigerian Tribune reports:
Ordinarily, the fragile-looking 16-year-old SSS1 student looked odd to be a suspect undergoing interrogation at the anti-robbery section of the Department of Criminal Investigation, Ogun State Police Command. But the allegations against him are so weighty.
Crime Reports gathered that Abdulateef was arrested on January 18, 2015 at Lambe area of Ajuwon, Ogun State after he allegedly entered the residence of a 52-year-old neighbour in the dead of the night, dispossessed her of the sum of N16,500 and went ahead to r*pe her, not minding the age difference between them.
The neighbour (names withheld), whose husband  works as a civil servant in a South West state, was said to be sleeping in her room when Abdulateef entered her residence at about 1.40a.m.  The suspect met the woman spread on her bed, unclad. Holding a rod that he had as a weapon, he was reported to have tapped the elderly woman awake, demanding for valuables.
The invader was said to have sent shivers down the spine of the woman by telling her that other gang members were outside, and it would be in her own interest if she cooperated, or she would be dealt with. The woman quickly handed over the N16,500 she had with her and prayed inwardly that the boy would leave her alone.
But she was shocked when the intruder commanded that she lay on her bed and spread her legs for him, as he wanted to have a good time with her. Conscious of the threat of other members laying siege, the elderly woman quickly complied and the boy had his way.
