The NSFW memoir is called Double Header: My Life With Two Penises and
is available as a Kindle eBook (because, y’know, it might not be
something you want to wave around on the Tube).
A year ago, the bisexual man, who calls himself DoubleD**kDude (DDD)
started a thread on Reddit with the immortal line: ‘I am the guy with
two penises. AMA (ask me anything)’.
Underneath he wrote, ‘FAQ: Both are 100% functional. What I was born
with is called Diphallia. I did NOT absorb a twin. It’s not genetic or
inherited. I am bisexual and in a committed relationship with a man and a
woman, but have permission to stray only with James Franco… wherever he
is. :)’
And he included photographic evidence.
The man, who’s believed to be American, spent 48 hours answering
questions about the condition, which is extremely rare – an estimated
one in every six million boys in America are born with it. Of those,
very few (if any) are thought to have two in working order. Most have
one removed at an early age. DDD did not as his mum was worried about
the surgery.
Now, exactly one year on, the 45-year-old’s published a detailed
account of his life so far, where he talks frankly about the downsides
of having two penises, including his ‘hellish’ childhood coming to terms
with the condition. He also documents some of his wilder s*xual
encounters (he says he’s slept with more than 1000 men and women), and
attempts to answer ALL the questions.
Just for the record, the penises are individually able to achieve
erection and climax. And he can urinate or release simultaneously.
DDD spoke to Rolling Stone about why he decided to write the book.
‘Before I was ‘DoubleD**kDude,’ no one cared about what I had to say,”
he says. ‘Since then, I’ve been able to help people who felt alone or
lost. I’ve gotten so many messages from people who need encouragement
for one thing or another.
‘With so much negativity in the world, the ability to bring something positive to the table is a great feeling.’
Sounds like it might be a hard one to put down.
